When do we collect personal data?
  • We do so when a business relationship is developed or build with you/or your business.
  • When we come across your profile while mapping out relevant parts of the labor market.
  • When you send us your resume (cv).
  • When you participate in one of our network or (co-)organized events (e.g. JIP, CFO board, Marketing board).
  • Sometimes we approach relations and e-mail for research/surveys about the (labour) market.
Why do we collect your personal data?
(Potential) candidates;
We collect and store your data for the execution of our executive search or interim management services, in order to:
  • asses your availability and general suitability for the mediation of a vacancy.
  • approach and inform you about positions that may be of interest to you.
  • be able to assess your potential interest or suitability as a candidate for specific vacancies, for example references and certificates.
Business contacts:
When we maintain or intend to build a business relationship with you, we record contact information and contact moments so that we can provide you with the best possible service:
  • when fulfilling assignments.
  • when inspiring our network.
  • when building industry and professional knowledge.
  • when involving you in our other networking activities.

Which personal data do we collect?
(Potential) candidates;
  • Your name and address, e-mail address and other contact details.
  • Current position(s) and employer(s), and relevant work experience.
  • Your resume (cv - when shared with us).
  • Information that is or may be important for assessing your suitability and availability as a candidate for various positions in our portfolio.
Business contacts:
  • Your name and address, e-mail address and other contact details.
  • Current position(s) and employer(s).
  • Participation in events (co-)organized by us.

With whom can we share your personal data (candidates)?
We only share information from potential candidates with clients in the context of vacancies in order to paint a picture of the labor market and to find out whether they would like to take you along as a possible candidate for a relevant vacancy. We will only share your resume with a client after it has been discussed with you and approved by you. Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. Whyz has taken the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data transferred is adequately protected.

How long will we store your personal data?
The retention periods we use depends on the applicable legal retention periods.
We keep your resume data (cv) for 2 years. We will send you a message both one year after the last contact and two years after the last contact, to inform you that your data is on file with us. In this message you will be given the option to indicate that you give permission for your resume (cv) to be kept longer and/or to send us a recent version of your resume (cv).

Of course, you have the opportunity, at any time, to indicate that you revoke, change or limit your previously given consent to the storage of your personal information. You can visit our online location for this within GatedTalent or by sending an e-mail with your preferences to

You have the right to view and/or change your personal data.
Furthermore, you have the right to demand from us:
  • that any incorrect information we have stored will be corrected.
